This Sunday, September 20, indie folk-rock band The Lobbyists will perform songs from SeaWife - their folk concert play which recently completed a sold-out limited summer engagement at South Street Seaport Museum - and other musical favorites in a one-night-only concert at Joe's Pub. Doors open at 9:00PM for the 9:30PM show, and tickets are available for $15 at publictheater.org.

Circle X Theatre Co. is thrilled to announce the world premiere of a new play, ICU, written by Fielding Edlow and directed by Brian Shnipper.

The Huntington Theatre Company will present the world premiere of CHOICE by award-winning playwright Winnie Holzman and directed by Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall on Broadway). Performances begin Friday, October 16 and continue through November 15, 2015 at the South End / Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. 

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of INDECENT, a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Rebecca Taichman, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), October 2-24. Opening Night is Thursday, October 8. The world premiere of INDECENT is a co-production with La Jolla Playhouse, where it will play November 13-December 10.

Long before the devil wore Prada -- 20 years ago, in fact -- the story of the irrepressible Diana Vreeland first commanded the stage of the Globe in a world premiere in 1995. Oscar and Tony Award winner Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King, Lost in Yonkers) now brings "The Empress of Fashion" back in FULL GALLOP. Written by Mark Hampton and Mary Louise Wilson and directed by Andrew Russell, FULL GALLOP will run September 26 through October 25, 2015, with opening night on Thursday, October 1 at 8:00 p.m., in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

 After a critically acclaimed, sold-out run at The New York International Fringe Festival, the Soho Playhouse will present The All-Americans's production of SCHOOLED, written by Lisa Lewis and directed by James Kautz (Artistic Director of The Amoralists), as part of the Fringe Encore Series, running October 5 - 17, 2015. Salty Brine proudly announces the premiere of a new cabaret, He's So Unusual, as the sixth installment in his series, Salty Brine's Spectacular Living Record Collection Cabaret.  Salty Brine's Spectacular Living Record Collection Cabaret, which performs on Wednesdays as part of Brine's residency at The Red Room (85 E. 4th St.), explores a different iconic album each month in a live cabaret setting.  He's So Unusual, inspired by by Cyndi Lauper's debut album She's So Unusual, will run on September 9, 16, 23 and 30 with doors opening at 7:30pm and shows beginning at 8:00pm.

The All-Americans present the World Premiere of SCHOOLED, written by Lisa Lewis and directed by James Kautz (Artistic Director of The Amoralists), as part of The New York International Fringe Festival. SCHOOLED runs from tonight, August 15, through August 27, 2015 at The Robert Moss Theater (Venue #15), located at 440 Lafayette Street between Astor Place and East 4th St., across the street from The Public Theater in New York City.

Pipeline Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of Andrew Farmer's haunting play The Gray Man, September 24-October 18 at Walker Space (46 Walker Street between Broadway and Church Street). Performances will be Wednesday through Sunday at 8pm with additional performances on Saturday at 5pm and Tuesday, October 13 at 8pm. Early bird tickets ($20) will go on sale August 20. Artists Repertory Theatre announces the casting of high-caliber actors, dancers and designers from Portland, Los Angeles and New York for the world premiere production of the Broadway-scale new musical Cuba Libre.

Lucky Chick has been selected to be part of the 2015 New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC). Written by and starring Felicity Seidel, the solo show is a comedic story of how a young girl got swept up into a crazy drug and sex-fueled world alongside her older boyfriend, Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead.
