The Lobbyists to Perform Songs from SEAWIFE at Joe's Pub This Weekend

This Sunday, September 20, indie folk-rock band The Lobbyists will perform songs from SeaWife - their folk concert play which recently completed a sold-out limited summer engagement at South Street Seaport Museum - and other musical favorites in a one-night-only concert at Joe's Pub. Doors open at 9:00PM for the 9:30PM show, and tickets are available for $15 at publictheater.org.

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of INDECENT, a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Rebecca Taichman, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), October 2-24. Opening Night is Thursday, October 8. The world premiere of INDECENT is a co-production with La Jolla Playhouse, where it will play November 13-December 10.

Oscar and Tony Award winner Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King, Lost in Yonkers) now brings "The Empress of Fashion" back in FULL GALLOP. Written by Mark Hampton and Mary Louise Wilson and directed by Andrew Russell, FULL GALLOP will run September 26 through October 25, 2015, with opening night on Thursday, October 1 at 8:00 p.m., in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
