Second Stage Theatre will kick off this summer's Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series with the world premiere of Carly Mensch's 'Len, Asleep in Vinyl.'

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Andrew D. Hamingson, Managing Director) is proud to announce the world premiere production of Annie Baker's play BODY AWARENESS, directed by Karen Kohlhaas and featuring Jonathan Clem, Peter Friedman, Mary McCann and JoBeth Williams.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Mara Manus) will begin previews for THE FEVER CHART: THREE VISIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST, the fourth play of the inaugural PUBLIC LAB initiative. Written by Naomi Wallace and directed by Jo Bonney, THE FEVER CHART: THREE VISIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST tells three distinct stories set in different parts of the Middle East. Tickets are $10 for all performances.

Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Artistic Director) today announced that, due to overwhelming demand, it will once again extend the World Premiere engagement of George Packer's captivating new play Betrayed, directed by Pippin Parker. Marking Packer's playwriting debut, Betrayed opened February 6, 2008 at Culture Project's SoHo theater (55 Mercer Street).

Magic Theatre announced Loretta Greco as its new artistic director. Ms. Greco comes to the Magic with an acclaimed directing career regionally and in New York, as well as celebrated producing experience as the Producing Artistic Director of Women's Project in NYC and as Associate Director and Staff Producer of McCarter Theatre.

This May, Berkeley Repertory Theatre continues its string of solo shows by presenting No Child…, the off-Broadway play that became the breakaway hit of the year. Performed by Nilaja Sun and directed by Hal Brooks, No Child… runs from May 11 through June 1 on Berkeley Rep's Thrust Stage. Opening night is Monday, May 12.

MCC Theater has announced casting for the World Premiere of Neil LaBute's bristling new comic drama reasons to be pretty and Terry Kinney will direct. The complete cast includes Piper Perabo (as Carly), Alison Pill (Steph), Thomas Sadoski (Greg) and Pablo Schreiber (Kent).

Gina Gershon and Mary McCormack join the previously announced Christine Baranski, Mark Rylance and Bradley Whitford in the Broadway production of the London smash Boeing-Boeing, Marc Camoletti's classic sixties comedy of errors opening at the Longacre Theatre Sunday, May 4.

'Til Sunday, a new play written by and starring Nairoby Otero and directed by Michelle Tattenbaum, will open at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex (312 West 36th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues) on Friday, February 22. There will be a preview performance on February 21.

Gideon Banner and Michael Esper will star in the upcoming New York premiere of Itamar Moses' two-person show 'The Four of Us.' The production, to be directed by Pam MacKinnon, will begin previews Thursday, March 6 and open on Tuesday, March 25 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage II.

Manhattan Theatre Club will present the world premiere of From Up Here, Liz Flahive's new American play. This production is presented in association with Ars Nova. The production, to be directed by Leigh Silverman, will begin previews Thursday, March 27 for a Wednesday, April 16 opening at New York City Center - Stage I

Playwrights Lucy Alibar, Jesse Cameron Alick, Robert Askins and Steven Levenson are the newest members of Youngblood, Ensemble Studio Theatre's collective of emerging professional playwrights.

Ars Nova presents, as part of the Out Loud series, offer a free reading of The Jesus Year, by Brooke Berman, directed by Trip Cullman. The Jesus Year will be read by Ari Graynor, Logan Marshall-Green , Lucas Papaelias and Katharine Waterston on Monday, October 15 at 7 PM at Ars Nova.

Producers Eric Falkenstein and Michael Alden have announced that theater icon Elaine Stritch will be the next star to step into the acclaimed Naked Angels production of Spalding Gray: Stories Left To Tell.
