Fuselsang's All the Wrong Reasons Plays 7/15 & 7/22

The Barrow Street Theatre presents, in a limited engagement, All the Wrong Reasons, written and performed by Drama League nominated John Fugelsang ("America's Funniest Home Videos") with direction by Pam MacKinnon on Sunday, July 15th and Sunday, July 22nd at 8:00 p.m. at the Barrow Street Theatre, 27 Barrow St. at 7th Ave.
 
"An ex-nun from the Deep South leaves her African convent to marry a former Franciscan brother from Brooklyn and the child they had against God's wishes struggles with existential morality in this tale of love and blasphemy; depression and the drug war; life and death; and how to offer sexual favors to famous Nazis on the air," as the show is described in press notes.
 
Fugelsang (writer/performer) appeared on "Politically Incorrect" over 20 times. He has performed at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. His credits include "CSI", "Providence", "The ACLU Freedom Files for Court TV", "Paul McCartney's Live Town Hall" & "George Harrison: The Last Performance for VH1", "America's Funniest Home Videos", "TV411" for PBS, and the received the award for "Outstanding NYC Monologist" from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs at Lincoln Center. 
 
Mackinnon directs Edward Albee's upcoming Peter and Jerry: Homelife, The Zoo Story at Second Stage.  Other credits include Itamar Moses' Bach at Leipzig at NYTW; Erin Courtney's Alice the Magnet (Clubbed Thumb), Propoganda (Naked Angels),  Edward Albee's The Play About the Baby (Goodman, PTC), The Goat, or Who is Sylvia (Alley Theatre, Vienna's English Theatre), Sheri Wilner's Father Joy (SPF), Itamar Moses' The Four of Us (Old Globe) and Victor Lodato's 3F, 4F (Magic Theatre).
