Jim Field Smith (EPISODES) is also executive producing and directing the pilot, which is based on the BBC series created by Corden and Baynton. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine, President of Programming, Showtime Networks Inc.

FX has set the premiere date for the second season of Snowfall, the drama series created by John Singleton & Eric Amadio and Dave Andron, it was announced today by Chuck Saftler, President, Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks. The second season will premiere today, July 19 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX.

Each semifinalist was given $2,500 and tasked with producing a 3-5 minutes scene from their original screenplay in one month. MTV today announced nominations across all gender neutral categories for the 2018 “VMAs.” The list includes dozens of artists whose reach and influence have elevated music's relevancy within the cultural conversation.  Cardi B received nods in 10 categories, including “Video,” “Song” and “Artist of the Year,” and The Carters secured eight, including “Video of the Year,” “Best Collaboration” and “Best Hip Hop” for their recent hit single “APES**T.” Other top contenders include Childish Gambino, Drake and Bruno Mars.  The “VMAs” will air live from Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, and across MTV's global network of channels in more than 180 countries and territories, reaching more than half a billion households around the world.
