Shakespeare's Globe confirms further details of the 2010 Kings and Rogues theatre season, following a record-breaking 2009 which achieved the highest attendance figures ever in its 13 year history, as well as seeing the Globe reach new audiences all over the UK, Europe and the US through touring, and having its productions filmed for the first time.

The Ross Valley Players has announced auditions for its upcoming production of 'Pride and Prejudice.' Jane Austen's classic story, set in the Regency era, is brought to the stage in this 2005 adaptation by John Jory. Finding a husband among unsuitable suitors consumes Elizabeth Bennet's mother and sisters, while she remains independent - until she meets Mr. Darcy. Set in a society where snubs and deceit abound, the Bennet family matches pride and prejudice to reach a happy ending. Phoebe Moyer directs the production opening on Nov. 12, 2010.

The UK Independent is reporting Kim Cattrall and Matthew Macfayden will team up with Gillian Anderson to star in the UK's Channel 4 four-part mini-series Any Human Heart. The series is an adaptation of William Boyd's best-selling novel and will premiere later this year.
