Ars Nova's ANT Fest Kicks Off Tonight with THOSE LOST BOYS

Ars Nova announces the lineup for its 6th Annual ANT Fest. This year's festival of All New Talent runs from today, June 3 - 29, featuring fresh new work from some of New York's most exciting emerging artists. From trapeze thrillers to hip-hop basketball musicals, 2013's ANT Fest heats up Ars Nova this summer with four weeks of comedy, music, theater and a fusion of all three you won't see anywhere else.

Theatre of NOTE Opens WHAT MAY FALL Tonight

Theatre of NOTE kicks off its 2013 season with the west coast premiere of WHAT MAY FALL written by Peter Gil-Sheridan and directed by Mary Jo DuPrey. WHAT MAY FALL explores the questions that everyone faces when awareness of their mortality is forced upon them. WHAT MAY FALL will open tonight, February 22 at 8pm and run through Saturday, March 23 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N. Cahuenga Blvd. (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.

Brooklyn Arts Exchange Hosts Space Grant Showcase, Now thru 12/1

BAX - Brooklyn Arts Exchange - has announced the SPACE Grant ShowCASE. featuring work by Kimberly Brandt, Morgan Gould, Shaun Irons & Lauren Petty and Nadia Tykulsker and Spark(edIt) Arts. The showcase will run today, November 30 & Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 8pm, with a reception to follow Saturday's performance. Tickets: $15 General, $8 Low-Income. To purchase, click HERE.

Young Jean Lee to Lead WE'RE GONNA DIE at LCT3, 9/12-15

This fall LCT3 will present a four performance only special event when it brings award-winning performer, playwright and director Young Jean Lee uptown to Lincoln Center to perform her Obie Award-winning piece WE'RE GONNA DIE. WE'RE GONNA DIE, which is written and performed by Young Jean Lee, with music by Future Wife, choreography by Faye Driscoll and direction by Paul Lazar, will be performed Wednesday, September 12 through Saturday, September 15, all evenings at 9pm on Lincoln Center Theater's newest stage - the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

TinyRhino Returns to The Brooklyn Lyceum Tonight, 5/14

TinyRhino is UglyRhino's take on the ten-minute play evening. Each month we commission six short plays each including the same five dramatic elements. On the night of the performance, these elements are revealed to the audience as cues to drink. That's right: we've created a theatrical drinking game. The elements in May range from 'a sales transaction' to 'someone ties their shoes', ensuring a dynamic collection of new plays.
