This fall LCT3 will present a four performance only special event when it brings award-winning performer, playwright and director Young Jean Lee uptown to Lincoln Center to perform her Obie Award-winning piece WE'RE GONNA DIE. WE'RE GONNA DIE, which is written and performed by Young Jean Lee, with music by Future Wife, choreography by Faye Driscoll and direction by Paul Lazar, will be performed Wednesday, September 12 through Saturday, September 15, all evenings at 9pm on Lincoln Center Theater's newest stage - the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

In this 2011 Obie Award-winning piece, provocative playwright Young Jean Lee takes the stage with her band Future Wife (Mike Hanf, Andrew Hoepfner, Nick Jenkins, Ben Kupstas) in a life-affirming show about the thing everyone has in common: WE'RE GONNA DIE. You may be miserable, but you won't be alone.

Young Jean Lee and Future Wife premiered WE'RE GONNA DIE last year in a production produced by 13P at Joe's Pub when she was awarded a special citation Obie Award for her work. Associate Director is Morgan Gould, Costumes are by Roxana Ramseur. Mike Farry is Dramaturg, Sunny Stapleton is the Production Supervisor and Aaron Rosenblum is the Producer for Young Jean Lee's Theater Company.

Young Jean Lee has written and directed nine shows in New York with Young Jean Lee's Theater Company and toured her work to over twenty cities around the world. Her plays have been published by Theatre Communications Group and by Samuel French. She is the recipient of two OBIE awards, a 2010 Prize in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, a 2011 Guggenheim Fellowship and a 2012 Doris Duke Artist Award. She has been commissioned to create a new piece for LCT3.

LCT3 opened the Claire Tow Theater (just one component in a new rooftop addition atop the Vivian Beaumont Theater which also houses rehearsal space and new administrative offices for Lincoln Center Theater) in June with the world premiere of Slowgirl, a new play by Greg Pierce, directed by Anne Kauffman, currently running through August 5. Slowgirl will be followed this fall, by LCT3's production of Disgraced, a new play by Ayad Akhtar, directed by Kimberly Senior, October 8 through November 18. LCT3 was established in 2008 as a programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists as well as developing new audiences. Tickets to all LCT3 productions are $20.

This fall Lincoln Center Theater will present, in addition to its ongoing production of War Horse, winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Play in the Vivian Beaumont Theater and Disgraced, the 75th Anniversary production of Clifford Odets' classic drama Golden Boy, to be directed by Bartlett Sher beginning Thursday, November 8 at a Broadway theatre to be announced and Christopher Durang's new play Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (in association with the McCarter Theater), to be directed by Nicholas Martin, beginning Thursday, October 25 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.
