SLOAN FOUNDATION (Doron Weber, Vice-President, Programs) are proud to announce that due to popular demand, the limited engagement of PLEASE CONTINUE, written by Frank Basloe and directed by William Carden, will extend at EST's Curt Dempster Theatre (549 W. 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019). ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE has announced the continuation of the EST 2015-2016 season. PLEASE CONTINUE by Frank Basloe, directed by William Carden, and presented in association with The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, will begin performances on February 3, 2016 and officially opens Thursday February 11, for a limited run through February 28, 2016. EST, in association with The Radio Drama Network, and Page 73 Productions will present the world premiere of KENTUCKY, by Leah Nanako Winkler, directed by Morgan Gould, which will begin performances in April for a limited run. Berkshire Theatre Group and Artistic Director/CEO, Kate Maguire, are thrilled to announce the casting for Berkshire Theatre Group's 87th summer season.

The Brick launches its first education program in 2014 with BRICK U. A dedicated workshop setting with expert teachers, the program offers unique, low-cost training in crucial arts-related skills unavailable in large universities. Classes are small and take place in The Brick performance space at 579 Metropolitan Avenue, in W illiamsburg, Brooklyn. T eachers include Adam Symkowicz, Crystal Skillman, Doris Mirescu, Morgan Gould, Robert K. Gardner and Max Azulay.

The Civilians' Annual R&D reading series kicks off with five readings from today, May 21 to May 30. The series features new work by R&D members Jeanine Oleson, Sean E. Cunningham, Riti Sachdeva, Mary Kathryn Nagle, Juliana Francis Kelly and Tony Torn. Melissa Crespo, Mia Rovegno, and Michael Leibenluft will direct these presentations, all at various stages in their development process. These readings are free and open to the public, and take place in the Great Room at 138 South Oxford Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

The works in progress will be directed by Sarah Krohn (Victor Frange Presents Gas at Incubator Arts Project; 2013 Boris Sagal Fellow at Williamstown Theatre Festival), Pirronne Yousefzadeh (QVC with Partial Comfort; The Tenant with Woodshed Collective), and Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Colt Coeur's Fish Eye at HERE; Missed Connections with Ars Nova). New Georges will present The New Georges Jam On Toast, a brand-new festival featuring work by The New Georges Jam, a 'performance gym' for early-career playwrights and directors founded in 2010 by Lucy Alibar, Jess Chayes, and Portia Krieger. New Georges will take over the legendary downtown performance space Dixon Place (161 Chrystie Street between Rivington and Delancey) from May 14-31 with World Premiere productions running in rep, works-in-progress presentations and cabaret-style shows, for a total of 47 performances over two and a half weeks.

New Georges' 22nd production year will spotlight on The New Georges Jam ON TOAST at Dixon Place, a new play festival that will feature work by the New Georges Jam, a "performance gym" for early-career playwrights and directors founded at New Georges in 2010 by Lucy Alibar(Beasts of the Southern Wild), Jess Chayes (HOME/SICK) and Portia Krieger (Eager to Lose). The New Georges Jam ON TOAST will feature 19 Jammers past and present - including two playwrights receiving their first New York productions. But first New Georges will kick things off with The 1st George Sand Invitational One-Minute Play Festival, the first all-women edition of the nationwide One-Minute Play Festival, January 13th & 14th at INTAR Theatre, featuring one-minute plays by over 50 female playwrights. The '14 season will also feature a special collaboration between New Georges and Barnard College in March, New Plays at Barnard, which will bring downtown artists and the new-play experience to students at Barnard and Columbia.
