Scott Moreau Stars In LATE AND ALONE: AN INTIMATE PORTRAIT OF JOHNNY CASH At Feinstein's/54 Below

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Scott Moreau in Late and Alone: An Intimate Portrait of Johnny Cash on April 2nd, 2019 at 9:30 PM. Using anecdotes from Johnny's autobiography, multiple interviews, live concerts and documentaries, Scott tells Johnny's story with the artist's own words and songs. Featuring more than 20 songs from Johnny's 40+ years in the music business , Scott creates a stripped down look into the life of this American icon. 

Nicolas Cage to Star in COLOR OUT OF SPACE

SpectreVision, the boutique genre division of Company X, and ACE Pictures announced today that principal photography will begin next month on COLOR OUT OF SPACE. Starring Nicolas Cage, the film will be directed by Richard Stanley -- his first feature in over twenty years.  Based on the novella by H.P. Lovecraft, COLOR OUT OF SPACE will reunite Cage with SpectreVision, the company behind the critically acclaimed and commercially successful 2018 film MANDY. The film will also star Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck, RED SPARROW), Tommy Chong (UP IN SMOKE), Elliot Knight (DC's Titans), Julian Hilliard (The Haunting of Hill House) and Q'Orianka Kilcher (The Alienist, DORA THE EXPLORER).

Boston One-Minute Play Festival Returns For 8th Year

The 8th ANNUAL BOSTON ONE-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL (#1MPF) returns for its eighth year, in partnership with Boston Playwrights' Theatre. The marathon evening of one-minute plays by 60 established and emerging Boston area playwrights and directors plays three performances only. Today, January 5th at 8pm, Sunday, January 6th at 8pm, & Monday, January 7th at 8pm.

BWW Review: 'Losing Your Mind' Three Ways in a Weekend at Opera Philadelphia's Festival O18

Whether from disease, 19th century #MeToo-style abuse, or unrequited love, Opera Philadelphia's (OP) Festival O18 opening weekend showed us three ways that central female characters lost their grip on reality. While I considered only one of them a total success, audience openness to sometimes-demanding material made it clear that the company has found a formula that strikes at the hearts of opera-goers, new and old.
