Fort Worth Opera (FWOpera) is excited to announce today the details of a one-night concert performance by the stars of NBC's America's Got Talent, crossover opera trio Forte. Just back from their holiday engagement at the Tropicana in Las Vegas and the National Christmas Tree Lighting, the three tenors of Forte, featuring FWOpera star Sean Panikkar, will bring their powerful voices and unique blend of part-pop, part-opera to Bass Hall in downtown Fort Worth on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at 7:30 pm. This exclusive performance will feature a limited number of 100 VIP experience seats for $100 each. These VIP experience tickets include premium orchestra seating and a pre-show VIP champagne reception. The VIP reception will be hosted from 6-7 pm before the show's 7:30 pm start time.

Celebrity Series of Boston is holding its first calls this weekend for Le Grand Continental, the most infectious, contemporary, community line dance ever imagined. Following on the success of Street Pianos Boston, Celebrity Series is looking for 150+ people of all ages to help them cap their 75th anniversary celebration with Le Grand Continental-a weekend of community dance performance that will be held May 16-18 in Copley Square Park.

Blue Man Group Las Vegas takes to the ice for a special performance and to cheer on the Las Vegas Wranglers as they take on the Bakersfield Condors inside Orleans Arena (4500 W. Tropicana Ave.) at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9. In support of the hometown hockey team, Blue Man Group will energize fans prior to the highly anticipated matchup with a one-of-a-kind rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner.'

San Francisco-based Alonzo King LINES Ballet, led by visionary Founder and Artistic Director Alonzo King, will present two alternate programs at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, one on Thursday, February 27 at 7:30PM and the other on Friday, February 28 at 7:30PM, featuring two of the company's newest interdisciplinary collaborations: The Thursday night performance welcomes acclaimed Israeli mezzo-soprano Maya Lahyani in her Chicago debut, and Friday night highlights an original score performed live by Grammy Award-winning double bassist Edgar Meyer in a Chicago premiere. Internationally acclaimed pianist Rueibin Chen will perform an evening of Rachmaninoff at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts as part of its inaugural season on Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28 at 8pm. Honoring Rachmaninoff's 140th anniversary, Chen has been touring worldwide performing programs dedicated to the composer. He is the first pianist to perform Rachmaninoff's three Nocturnes in Asia and California, USA. His 2014 world tour will include in Greater China, performing concertos with orchestras as well as solo recitals.

With a signature flair for programming and a nod to three of history's great jazz artists who are equally at home in the symphonic scene, Music Director and conductor Mitchell Sardou Klein has programmed an evening of music by Bay Area composer/pianist Taylor Eigsti and his artistic predecessors Dave Brubeck and George Gershwin in two performances tonight and tomorrow, January 17 and 18.

On the heels of a highly successful run of George Balanchine's “The Nutcracker”, Oregon Ballet Theatre will show a multitude of facets with REVEAL at the Keller Auditorium, February 22 – March 1, 2014. Four works will appear on the bill, three of which were or will be created on the dancers of OBT. Former Artistic Director Christopher Stowell returns to choreograph his first new work on the company since departing from that post a year ago. Returning to the OBT stage are James Kudelka's “Almost Mozart”, created for the company to much acclaim in 2006 and chosen for the ballet's most recent appearance at the Kennedy Center in the Ballet Across America festival last June, and Christopher Wheeldon's “Liturgy”, a profound meditation set to the music of Arvo Pa?rt which OBT first performed in 2012. Rounding out this feast of dance is Nicolo Fonte's daring and visually striking “Bolero”. Former Principal Dancer Artur Sultanov returns to the stage for only these performances to partner Principal Dancer Alison Roper in every show of this work, originally created on the duo in 2008.

LAC will be presented by The Ballets De Monte-Carlo under the Presidency of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, in association with New York City Center and Ardani Artists. LAC (After Swan Lake) has scenery by visual artist Ernest Pignon-Ernest and costumes by Philippe Guillotel.

The Dallas Opera has announced that, through the generosity of The Titus Family, a brand-new recital series has been created to showcase well-established singers in programs dedicated to preserving the fine art of “art song.” The series launch will take place tonight, January 4, 2014 in Dallas City Performance Hall (2520 Flora Street, Dallas) at 7:30 p.m.
