The Actors Fund's Looking Ahead Program presented The 2018 Looking Ahead Awards on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the magnificent Taglyan Cultural Complex in Hollywood. Hosted by Ashley Argota and Garrett Clayton, The Looking Ahead Awards honors leaders in the current and former young performer community who inspire the world by living the program's core values of growth, education, leadership and community service.

The Actors Fund has announced a star-studded lineup for the 2018 Looking Ahead Awards hosted by Garrett Clayton ("Hairspray Live!," "Teen Beach Movie") and Ashley Argota ("The Fosters") on Sunday, October 28 from 4-8pm at the magnificent Taglyan Complex in Hollywood. The fifth annual gala, which raises support and awareness for The Actors Fund's Looking Ahead Program, features exciting "blue carpet" arrivals, cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, awards ceremony and live performances. On Wednesday, September 26 thousands of local students and educators descended on Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for the second annual WE Day UN.  The youth empowerment event returned to New York to celebrate youth and educators from across the Tri-State area. Taking place during the conclusion of the 73rd United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), WE Day UN is held in partnership with UN Women, UNAIDS and UN Global Compact. WE Day UN celebrates the year-round local and global acts of service taken by thousands of students from across the region.

WE Day California will be filmed for a one-hour national televised broadcast special airing on ABC on August 17, 2018 at 8P ET/7P CT.

Yesterday marked the the inaugural WE Day UN event that took place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in NYC.

In celebration of the upcoming THE LION KING in-home release, a special sing along screening hosted by The Walt Disney Studios and Fandango took place at the famed outdoor venue. The evening kicked off with a special musical performance by the sensational Tshidi Manye, who currently stars as Rafiki in the long-running Broadway production of THE LION KING.

WE Day, an international series of inspiring stadium-sized events, announces the initial list of speakers, performers and presenters attending WE Day California on April 27, 2017 at The “Fabulous” Forum.

Filmmakers of the future from across the country, ages 14-23, participated at this year's 2nd Annual Real To Reel Global Youth Film Festival. The festival producers were excited at the results and are working to gear up for next year. The film festival was spearheaded by Better Youth executive director Syd Stewart and 23-year-old program director Johna Rivers, an emancipated foster youth from the community of Watts, California.
