2018 Sundance Film Festival Announces Latest Additions

HB Studio, one of New York's most venerable institutions for theater training and practice, will host a Memorial Tribute to Earle Hyman. Formerly of HB's acting faculty, Mr. Hyman was a longtime HB friend. A brilliant actor, teacher and mentor, Mr. Hyman's career broke many boundaries, both in the United States and abroad. HB takes pride in honoring his legacy and invites friends, family, students, colleagues, and admirers to celebrate his life.

The Paley Center for Media in New York today announced it has selected three outstanding television programs to be featured in the 2018 PaleyLive NY Spring Season.

Molly Shannon will guest star on an upcoming episode of NBC's revival of WILL & GRACE. According to the site, the funny lady will reprise her role of Val Bassett, which she originated in a 1999 episode of the show's original run.

Award-winning and sector-leading London based theater company Frantic Assembly (Movement Direction, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) visits NYC's HB Studio this Fall to teach a Physical Theater Masterclass. Frantic Assembly's widely studied method of devising theater from a physical starting point has been impacting theatrical practice for up to 24 years. The workshop, now enrolling, is scheduled for October 22, 2017.

Adam Rapp's Red Light Winter will be presented in a special one night only event October 29th at 7:30 PM at Henningson & Co. in Downtown Los Angeles. The cast includes Jaclyn Bethany, David Gangel-Guerrero and Vincent Santvoord. The performance will feature a pop-up gallery featuring work from artists around their world, created in response to the text. The evening will be produced by BKE Productions with Yvonne Reddy and production/lighting design by Mollie Wartelle.
