Peninsula Players Announces 2018 Artistic Company

Peninsula Players Theatre, America's Oldest Professional Resident Summer Theatre and Door County's theatrical icon, announces artistic company members for its 83rd season, running June 12 through October 14, 2018.  The "must-see" 2018 season includes a world premiere comedy-drama, a thrilling new mystery, a delightfully funny musical, a sparkling new comedy and an intriguing new drama.

Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival Announces Casting for OTHELLO

The Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival (NDSF) has announced the casting for its upcoming production of The Tragedy of Othello, the Moor of Venice. The flagship production of the 2018 season, Othello will feature stage & screen veteran Esau Pritchett in the title role, with celebrated stage actor Robert Ramirez returning to the NDSF stage as Iago, and featuring Delaney Feener as Desdemona, Maggie Kettering as Emilia, and Paul Hurley as Roderigo. Actors will be available for on- or off-camera interviews on July 31, 2018.

Park Square Theatre Presents BASKERVILLE

Park Square Theatre cherishes its summertime tradition of cozying up audiences with a good mystery. This year's edition for the company's 43rd season - Ken Ludwig's BASKERVILLE: A SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY - offers a fresh take for Holmes devotees AND a special invitation for those who've never spent an evening with the iconic sleuth. A FINE BRIGHT DAY TODAY Closes Peninsula Players' Winter Play Reading Series

Peninsula Players Theatre presented a reading of "A Fine Bright Day Today," a new play by British playwright Philip Goulding, on Monday, April 2 at Bjorklunden.  "A Fine Bright Day Today" was produced as the final installment of The Play's the Thing, a winter series of play readings organized by Peninsula Players Theatre.

WildClaw Theatre Stages World Premiere Horror Play NIGHT IN ALACHUA COUNTY

WildClaw Theatre Company proudly presents the world premiere production of NIGHT IN ALACHUA COUNTY running through October 7th at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Jeff Awards Honor Peninsula Players Company Members with Nominations

Company members of Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater, celebrated the announcement of Chicago's 2017 Joseph Jefferson Award nominations with the listing of several current and past company members. The Joseph Jefferson Awards are Chicago theaters' equivalent to Broadway's Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards.

Today, The Hawk Chicago announced nominations for the inaugural Chicago Theatre Awards, a contest in which all winners are chosen entirely by audience vote. The first round, which invited write-in submissions, ended June 23rd. The official nominees were decided by almost 1,600 voters.

Jeff Awards 2017 Non-Equity Nominations Announced

The Jeff Awards announced, via a special video presentation, a total of 127 nominations in 26 categories for the 44th Annual Non-Equity Jeff Awards for productions that opened between April 1, 2016, and March 31, 2017.  Hosting the video presentation were Alexis Roston and Lillian Castillo, who will be this year's Mistresses of Ceremonies at the Awards event on June 5 at The Athenaeum.

Peninsula Players Announces Public Reading of MISS HOLMES

Players Theatre will present a play reading ofChristopher M. Walsh's "Miss Holmes" on Monday, April 3 at 7 p.m. at Bjorklunden, 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor. "Miss Holmes" is a thrilling new murder mystery inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and is the final offering of The Play's the Thing, a winter play reading series produced by Players for the Door County community. General seating is available; no admission fee.

Strawdog Theatre Company Announces New Staff, Board and Company Members
