TheaterWorksUSA Returns to New York with Shows for Young Audiences

For over 50 years TheaterWorksUSA has presented family-friendly adaptations of celebrated books on stages across the country. This fall, TheaterWorksUSA will be offering its trademark brand of quality entertainment in New York as they partner with BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center (199 Chambers St, New York, NY 10007) to present four shows based on beloved children's books Charlotte's Web, Pete the Cat, Dragons Love Tacos & The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System.

Hilarity Ensues in Village Theatre's THE NOTEWORTHY LIFE OF HOWARD BARNES

Village Theatre is thrilled to kick off the 2018-2019 Season with the World Premiere of The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes by Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond (Romantics Annonymous at the Old Globe in London, Disney Channel's Vampirina). This production will be directed by Village Theatre associate artistic director,Brandon Ivie (Lizard Boy, Jasper in Deadland) and choreographer Al Blackstone, who was recently nominated for an Emmy for his work on the popular television show So You Think You Can Dance

DR. BRADLEY'S FUNCTIONAL NARCISSISM Announces Encore Performance at Don't Tell Mama

'Dr. Bradley's Functional Narcissism…The Psychoanalytic Odyssey of a Once Glorified Chorus Boy' has been packing in SRO crowds in a series of cabaret evenings in NYC, offering a hilarious and touching combination of psychotherapy, (of which Dr. Bradley Jones is a bona fide, longstanding practitioner in New York City) and song and dance (of which he was a bona fide practitioner in Broadway's 'A Chorus Line" for nearly ten years). He'll return, by popular demand, to Don't Tell Mama on September 16th at 7pm for an encore performance. If you want to attend, reservations are essential.

Dr. Bradley Jones returns to Don't Tell Mama on July 26th with an encore performance of Dr. Bradley's Fabulous Functional Narcissism: The Solo Show. The hilarious and moving coming-of-age story chronicles Jones' childhood as a budding theater queen, ten years on Broadway in A Chorus Line, right through the present and his successful, post -Broadway career as a psychoanalyst in New York City. Broadway Vet Bradley Jones Is Just What The Doctor Ordered

The veteran Broadway chorus boy Bradley Jones, who segued into a career as a psychoanalytic clinician and author, is currently in the midst of a crowd-pleasing comeback to the stage. His cabaret debut, which took off in a sold-out, one-night stand at The Metropolitan Room last year, continues for three nights this spring. 'Dr. Bradley's Fabulous Functional Narcissim: The Solo Show,' Jones's raucously funny and insightful coming of age story that rockets through the '60s of his childhood, through the '70s and '80s of his Broadway years, all the way to the present, gets started for two nights at The Laurie Beechman at the West Bank Cafe, 407 West 42nd Street, on Friday May 11, at 7pm and Saturday May 19, at 1pm. The fun continues for a third date at Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street, on Friday June 15 at 8pm. Jones is supported by a quartet, The Freudians, led by Mike Pettry, the show's music director, on piano, with Alden Banta on woodwinds, Jacob Silver on bass, and Zack Eldridge on percussion.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, will present The Last Song of Eddie Scourge, a new musical by Eli Bolin (Found, Skippyjon Jones) and Mike Pettry (The Light Princess, The Time Travelers Convention), featuring Greg Hildreth (The Robber Bridegroom, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Heathers: The Musical, Found), Max Crumm (Disaster!, Grease), and more on November 30th, 2016 at 9:30pm.
