Video games get the musical comedy treatment in CLAUDIO QUEST, a clever new musical now having its West Coast Premiere performances at Orange County's Chance Theater through February 26 in Anaheim. Those familiar with the 8-bit characters of games like Super Mario Bros. will be amused by the adventures of a pair of heroic brothers whose mission is to save the kidnapped princess from the clutches of a fire-breathing platypus terrorizing the kingdom. When the game suddenly changes players, the heroes are thrown for a loop and must figure out how to navigate and triumph this glitch-filled new world.

The BOX, a curated showcase of music, spoken-word, dance and other performances concludes Vanity the thematic series presented by Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC). The BOX takes place November 11th at (doors open 6:30pm/Performances 7:30pm) at Merseles Studios, 339 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07302. Chance Theater announced that its popular un-holiday comedy, The Eight: Reindeer Monologues will be extending its run through December 28, 2013, adding performances on Monday, December 23 at 7:45pm and Saturday, December 28 at 11pm.
