The Farm Theater has awarded playwright Nandita Shenoy with the 2026-27 College Collaboration Project Commission. Shenoy will collaborate with students at Centre College in Danville, KY and the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music.

The Rochester School of Technology's School of Performing Arts (Rochester, NY) will join The Farm Theater's 2025-26 College Collaboration Project with playwright Gina Femia.

Now in its ninth season of supporting emerging writers The Farm Theater has awarded their 2022/23 College Collaboration Project Commission to playwright Deneen Reynolds-Knott (Antepartum at The Fire This Time Festival; Shoebox Picnic Road Side: Route One with Alabama Shakespeare Festival).

Now in its ninth season of supporting emerging writers The Farm Theater has awarded their 2021/22 College Collaboration Project Commission to playwright Jake Brasch (Greenland at Dixon Place; Salutations, I'm Creative Dave at Alchemical Theatre Laboratory). Jake will collaborate with Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN and Pellissippi State College in Knoxville, TN. Austin Peay is participating in The Farm Theater's College Collaboration Project for the first time. This will be Pellissippi State's second year, following their partnership in 2018-19.

Now in its seventh season of supporting emerging female writers The Farm Theater has awarded their 2020/21 College Collaboration Project Commission to playwright Lia Romeo (The Forest, featured on The Kilroys' List; NYIT Award nominee for Connected at 59E59). Ms. Romeo will collaborate with Centre College in Danville, KY (fall 2020) and Wells College in Aurora, NY (spring 2020). This will be Centre College's fourth time participating in The Farm Theater's College Collaboration Project.

Now in its sixth season of supporting emerging female writers The Farm Theater has awarded their 2019/20 College Collaboration Project Commission to playwright Judith Leora. Ms. Leora will collaborate with Hillsborough Community College in Hillsborough, FL (fall 2019), Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, AL (winter 2020), and Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA (spring 2020). This will be Birmingham Southern College's second time participating in The Farm Theater's College Collaboration Project. 

Now in its fifth season of supporting emerging female writers The Farm Theater will present their 2018/19 College Collaboration Project with playwrights Kimberly Belflower and Erin Malon. The projects will kick-off in February when each playwright will have an opportunity to converse with groups of students from each of the partner schools via video, to discuss the theme they are writing about and shape the direction of their individual pieces. Each of the plays will have a three-day workshop, cast with professional actors, in NYC in August 2018. The projects will each culminate in a public reading in NYC in June 2019 with a cast made up of students from each school along side professional actors.

Ivy Theatre Company presents 24 Hours of WOMEN! In honor of International Women's Day. What started as a living room idea has grown to reading nothing but works by women for a full 24 hours. We have 19 plays, 1 Pulitzer nominated novella, and a screenplay ready and waiting to be read after the Women's March.

Produced by Ivy Theatre Company in association with Athena Theatre, A REAL BOY begins performances tonight, August 2, for a limited engagement through Sunday, August 27. Press Opening is Sunday, August 6 at 3.30 PM.

The Farm Theater will present a reading of their latest College Collaboration Project, Micheline Auger's #Love95times, on Monday, June 5 at 7pm at Theaterlab (357 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, 3rd Floor).

The Farm Theater will present their 2017/18 College Collaboration Project with playwright Jan Rosenberg in collaboration with students and faculty at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama (Professor of Theatre, Alan Litsey) and West Chester University in West Chester, PA (Associate Professor, Len Kelley).

The Farm Theater announces their 2017 season, which will include the 3rd Annual College Collaboration Project with playwright Morgan McGuire, a co-production with the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, new installments of the popular bi-monthly Bullpen Sessions, and a new monthly Directors Roundtable series.
