According to TV Line, Frank Darabont's (THE WALKING DEAD) period piece pilot, LA NOIR, is set for a full series on TNT. The network has ordered six episode for its premiere season.

Cougar Town, the acclaimed sitcom starring Golden Globe(R) nominee Courteney Cox, is moving to TBS. The top-rated network has ordered a fourth season of Cougar Town, and has announced a start date of Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Currently airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), the comedy is averaging more than 2.5 million viewers in its first season and ranks as one of the Top 25 new summer series on television. TBS has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to launch in 2013.

TNT has ordered a pilot for the action-packed drama series The Last Ship, based on the popular novel by William Brinkley and executive-produced by blockbuster filmmaker Michael Bay (Transformers). The project comes to TNT from Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, whose credits include A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, with showrunner Hank Steinberg (Without a Trace) and Steven Kane (The Closer) also serving as executive producers. Steinberg and Kane wrote the pilot script.

During the 2012-2013 season, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre is producing three plays by prominent Jewish playwrights. MCT, JMM & the JCC decided this was an ideal opportunity to partner and provide additional educational and outreach opportunities to the Milwaukee area Jewish community.
