On Friday, March 2, TheatreWorks New Milford opens its 2012 season with the comedy THE IRISH CURSE by Martin Casella. The show opens at 8:00 p.m. for a four-week run.

Noir, a new drama series from executive producers Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead, The Shawshank Redemption), Michael De Luca (The Social Network, Moneyball) and Elliot Webb (Tall Time Tales). The project from TNT Original Productions is based on John Buntin's critically acclaimed book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City, which chronicles the epic battle between Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker and mobster Mickey Cohen. Alissa Phillips (Moneyball) of Michael De Luca Productions serves as co-executive producer. Darabont is set to write and direct the pilot.

TNT has given the greenlight to the network's first-ever reality competition series, The Great Escape. The action-packed series comes to TNT from Fox Television Studios, Imagine Entertainment, The Hochberg Ebersol Company and Profiles Television Productions, with Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind),Brian Grazer (24), Francie Calfo (Scoundrels), Elise Doganieri (The Amazing Race), Bertram van Munster (The Amazing Race), Justin Hochberg and Charlie Ebersol serving as executive producers. TNT has ordered 10 episodes of The Great Escape, which is slated to join the network's lineup in summer 2012.

TNT has ordered a pilot for Chelsea General (working title), a new medical drama series from award-winning producer David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope) and practicing neurosurgeon and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, M.D. Kelley and Dr. Gupta will executive-produce. Kelley wrote the pilot script for the series, which is based on Gupta's upcoming novel Monday Mornings.

On August 1, 2011, Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, launched 'The Miles Davis Fan Project,' an innovative online initiative designed to introduce the music of the American jazz composer-trumpeter-bandleader to a digital audience via Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/MilesDavis) and Davis' official website (milesdavis.com).

TNT has renewed its fast-paced, light-hearted caper drama Leverage for a fifth season, just as the fourth season is shaping up to score the show's biggest ratings yet. TNT has ordered 15 episodes of Leverage, with the fifth season slated to launch in summer 2012. The series - which centers on a gang of grifters, hackers and thieves out to settle scores against the rich and powerful - currently airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). After the show's Aug. 28 summer finale, Leverage will return to wrap up its fourth season with new episodes in November and December.

TNT has renewed Falling Skies, cable's #1 new series, for a second season. The epic saga about the aftermath of an all-out invasion by an alien military force has been a tremendous hit both domestically and internationally. Falling Skies, which airs Sundays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), stars Noah Wyle and comes to TNT from DreamWorks Television and executive producer Steven Spielberg. TNT has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to air in summer 2012.

In its latest high-profile acquisition, TNT has secured the exclusive off-network cable rights to the hit series, Castle, from Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Castle, which just completed its third highly rated season on ABC, is a crime drama starring Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Desperate Housewives) and Stana Katic (Quantum of Solace, TNT's The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice).
