BWW Reviews: HEARTBREAK, USA Lacks Heart

HEARTBREAK, USA is the ballad of Missy and Jerry, long-time sweethearts who find themselves at the end of the relationship road. Missy leaves, looking to her friends, Casey and Lizzie, for much needed support. But Jerry stubbornly stays exactly where Missy left him, vowing to remain on his porch until she comes back, kept company by the occasional visits of his friends, Ricky and Trip, and frequent visits by the local pizza delivery guy.

BWW Reviews: Standing Room Only Productions' FEELING ALRIGHT! Leaves Audiences Feeling Great

Standing Room Only Productions is kicking off the summer with a revival of the fun musical revue FEELING ALRIGHT!. The show takes audiences back to 1975 to celebrate the 10 Year Reunion of Memorial High School's Class of 1965. As relationships change shape and truths are laid bare, the energetic cast rocks the audience with tuneful favorites that fit nicely into the light-hearted and romantic plot of the musical.

BWW Reviews: Cone Man Running Productions' A SPONTANEOUS SMATTERING: HOLIDAY EDITION Puts the Ha Ha Ha in Happy Holidays

Cone Man Running Productions and Obsidian Art Space's popular 24 hour play festival, A SPONTANEOUS SMATTERING, was given a seasonal spin for last night's holiday edition. Drawing a crowd of theatre diehards, family, and friends, everyone in attendance was curious to see what these skilled and talented artists would create. Waiting for the show to begin, everyone was buzzing about the #smattering posts they had seen on Facebook, the writers' previous works, and their excitement about what they were about to witness. It doesn't hurt any that everyone was treated to a free shot as they picked up their tickets either.
