Reviver Records Appoints Jim Malito As VP/Promotion

Industry veteran Jim Malito has been named to the newly created position of VP/Promotion for the Reviver Entertainment Group. Jim will be working with both the Reviver and 1608 promotion staffs while reporting to Reviver's SVP Bob Reeves.

Mohegan Sun is rolling out the best in entertainment for all types of fans and concertgoers! In late June, the Barenaked Ladies kick off the summer with a spectacle you won't want to miss. Taking the nightly NISSAN STADIUM stage this year are Country Music superstars Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Charles Esten and Friends, Florida Georgia Line, Dustin Lynch, Old Dominion, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Charley Pride, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Ricky Skaggs, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Lee Ann Womack, and Brett Young. Several acts join this year's Nissan Stadium lineup for the first time with full sets and special performances including Brown, Combs, Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, Pardi, Pearce and Young. In addition, Lauren Alaina and Bebe Rexha will make guest appearances. Stadium gates open daily at 6:00 PM with performances starting at 8:00 PM. A limited number of four-day tickets for the nightly performances at Nissan Stadium are still available at CMAfest.com/tickets or through the CMA Box Office at 1-800-CMA-FEST.

The Chicago Public Library Foundation and the Chicago Public Library presented the 16th annual Carl Sandburg Literary Award to legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Universally heralded for his immense contributions to musical theater in a career spanning more than 50 years, Sondheim was at the Carl Sandburg Literary Awards Dinner tonight, October 21, 2015 at The Forum (725 W. Roosevelt Road) on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago. The event was attended by almost 700 and raised more than $1.5 million to support the initiatives of the Chicago Public Library. Scroll down for photos!

Haney, from the poetry of Sheryl St. Germain, and directed by Tracy Bersley (choreographer for On the Levee at Lincoln Center, LCT3). Theatre intersects with visual art and poetry in this haunting and galvanizing perspective of the Medusa myth. Kiss Me or Cut Off My Head will play a three week limited engagement at the Soho Photo Gallery (15 White Street, New York, NY 10013). Performances begin Thursday, August 20th and continue through Today, September 5th, 2015 . Opening Night is Thursday, August 20th at 7:30 pm.
