A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company led by Producing Artistic Directors Geoff Elliott and Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, begins its 22nd season and the third season in its new Pasadena home with William Shakespeare's Pericles, Prince of Tyre, opening Saturday, September 14 and closing Sunday, November 24, 2013, with previews starting September 7.

Production is underway on the third season of HBO/CINEMAX's breakout drama series STRIKE BACK, it was announced today by Kary Antholis, president of HBO Miniseries and CINEMAX Programming.

This month, MainStreet produces the West Coast premiere of an imaginative re-telling of a much-loved tale. Aladdin's Luck by Janet Stanford, uses audience participation and imaginative staging to tell the familiar story with only three actors. The Emmy®-nominated series STRIKE BACK will return to CINEMAX in 2013 for a third season of ten new episodes, which will shoot in South Africa and Hungary.

HBO series TRUE BLOOD and GAME OF THRONES are confirmed for panels and autograph sessions, and Cinemax series Strike Back will have a panel and a screening at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2012.

Indhu Rubasingham has announced her inaugural season at The Tricycle, which will launch with the World Premiere of Red Velvet, written by Lolita Chakrabarti with Adrian Lester in the role of Ira Aldridge; followed by The Tricycle's first festive family show, The Arabian Nights, written by Mary Zimmerman and adapted from The Book Of The Thousand Nights and One Night. In 2013, The Tricycle present an Eclipse Theatre production of One Monkey Don't Stop No Show, by Don Evans, followed by another World Premiere: Paper Dolls, written by Philip Himberg and adapted from the award-winning documentary by Tomer Heymann, produced by Stanley Buchthal.

The Boston College Theatre Department concludes its year-long celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Robsham Theater Arts Center with an exciting new production of William Shakespeare's classic comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Directed by BC Adjunct Associate Professor of Theatre Luke Jorgensen, the production takes inspiration from the romance and spectacle of Bollywood movies, and shifts the action from Shakespeare's mythical Athens to an equally mythical colonial India--complete with fairies inspired by Indian deities, elaborate costumes, and big Bollywood dance sequences. Performances will take place on Robsham's Mainstage tonight, April 26 through April 29, 2012 as part of the 14th annual Boston College Arts Festival.
