Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Producing Director Richard M. Parison Jr., is proud to present a new production of the world's longest-running musical, The Fantasticks, a captivating romantic comedy about a boy, a girl, two fathers, and a wall.

On October 18, 2009, Brava joins the week long celebration of the 100 year anniversary of Futurism with SFMOMA, Italian Cultural Institute, UC Berkeley, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and The San Francisco Center for the Book.

Producers of the 5th Annual FODfest have announced more dates for this year's 32 day, international tour which honors the life of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was murdered by terrorists in Pakistan in 2002 at the age of 38. FODfest has been invited to perform in Taiwan from October 14 to 20 for the first time ever and returns to the U.S on October 21for eight more dates across six states. Acclaimed singer-songwriter Michael Smith and bluesman Corky Siegel have registered to play on Wednesday, October 28 at the Village Players Performing Arts Center in Oak Park, Illinois and more musicians of all genres register daily for the last performance dates. Interested musicians are invited to go to www.fodfest.org to register to perform in a venue on the last leg of the 2009 tour.

Viva La Vie Boheme in a dynamic production of RENT at The Ringwald Theatre! Who Wants Cake? is thrilled to open their 2009/2010 season with the smash hit musical, RENT created by Jonathan Larson. Beginning Friday, August 21st and playing for a six week engagement ending on Monday, September 28th, RENT will play Friday, Saturday, and Monday nights at 8PM with Sunday matinees at 3PM.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Ellen Richard, Executive Director) concludes its 30th Anniversary mainstage season with the New York premiere of VANITIES, a new musical written by Jack Heifner, featuring music and lyrics by David Kirshenbaum, directed by Judith Ivey.
