More Dates Set for FODfest, Honoring Journalist Daniel Pearl

Producers of the 5th Annual FODfest have announced more dates for this year's 32 day, international tour which honors the life of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was murdered by terrorists in Pakistan in 2002 at the age of 38. FODfest has been invited to perform in Taiwan from October 14 to 20 for the first time ever and returns to the U.S on October 21for eight more dates across six states. Acclaimed singer-songwriter Michael Smith and bluesman Corky Siegel have registered to play on Wednesday, October 28 at the Village Players Performing Arts Center in Oak Park, Illinois and more musicians of all genres register daily for the last performance dates. Interested musicians are invited to go to www.fodfest.org to register to perform in a venue on the last leg of the 2009 tour.

AVENUE Q, the Tony Award-winning musical that has delighted and surprised theatergoers since it first arrived on Broadway in 2003, had another surprise in store when the musical's producers announced from the stage at the conclusion of the show's final Broadway performance at the John Golden Theatre (252 W. 45 St.) on September 13, 2009 that AVENUE Q will, in fact, move to a new address in the Times Square neighborhood and begin performances on October 9 at New World Stages (340 W. 50 St.).
