Cincinnati Music Theatre to Stage SUNSET BOULEVARD, 5/10-18

Cincinnati Music Theatre (CMT), now celebrating its 50th Anniversary Season, presents Sunset Boulevard, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton. Join us May 10-18, 2013 at the Aronoff Center's Jarson-Kaplan Theater as we enter the infamous house on Sunset, and meet the 'greatest star of all,' Norma Desmond.

Shows Announced for Spring 2013 New York Children's Theater Festival

The New York Children's Theater Festival co-founders Michael Shawn Lewis, Chelsey Shannon, and Renee Barnett have announced the shows for its second season. This year's selections are all original premieres: The Tale of Jamie Freel: a Faerie Story; Cheater, Cheater, Pumpkin Eater!; and Molly Bloom Lately.

SAG Awards Stunt Ensemble Nominations Announced

This landmark "concept" show is considered by many to have inaugurated the modern era of musical theatre. Company is as contemporary and relevant as ever.

The writing team of a new Broadway-bound musical, inspired by the once shockingly explicit 1928 D.H. Lawrence masterpiece, Lady Chatterley's Lover, is turning to the Internet to fundraise for an industry reading to be held in New York City in late fall. New York Children’s Theater Festival Announces Shows for Spring 2012

The New York Children's Theater Festival has announced the accepted participants for its inaugural season, chosen by a judging panel of over 30 industry professionals including Kevin ("Elmo") Clash, Cheryl Henson (President, The Henson Foundation), John Tartaglia (Emmy, Tony, and Drama Desk Award nominated actor, producer, puppeteer), Thomas Schumacher (President, Disney Theatrical Productions), and Michael Jung, (Vice President, Theatrical Development, Walt Disney Imagineering).

Kevin 'Elmo' Clash And Others Join Children's Theater Festival

Cheryl Henson (President, The Jim Henson Foundation); Kevin Clash (Elmo's Emmy-winning creator and Muppet veteran); and Carole Demas (Broadway star, children's television icon from The Magic Garden) have joined the advisory board of The New York Children's Theater Festival, it was announced today by Michael Shawn Lewis, co-founder of The Festival.

Tony Award and Emmy Award nominated actor John Tartaglia, the creator and producer of the Drama Desk-nominated Off-Broadway hit John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, will appear at Gymboree (327 West 14th Street, NYC) on Tuesday, August 16 at 12:30 PM. Along with the stars of ImaginOcean -- the adorable puppets Dorsel, Bubbles and Tank -- Tartaglia will meet and greet fans, sign autographs, and perform songs from ImaginOcean.
