Join Academy Award nominated actor and A Red Orchid Theatre co-founding ensemble member Michael Shannon on Monday, July 29 for a celebration of A Red Orchid Theatre's 20th Anniversary. The anniversary celebration will be held at Chicago's storied concert hall Metro and will feature live music by Ben Nichols (of Lucero); Michael Shannon's band, Corporal; The Blind Staggers; and special guest Steely Danish. All proceeds from the event will benefit A Red Orchid Theatre.

After flying into the record books in its opening, Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' 'Man of Steel' continues to soar at the box office. The film crossed the $500 million mark on Saturday, June 29. The announcement was made today by Warner Bros. Pictures President of Domestic Distribution, Dan Fellman, and President of International Distribution, Veronika Kwan Vandenberg.

Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, Our Town, is to get its official 75th anniversary UK production - its first major London revival in a generation - at the King's Head Theatre from Wednesday 26 June - Saturday 20 July.

Primary Stages launches their 29th season with the New York premiere of Harbor by Tony-nominated writer Chad Beguelin (Elf, The Wedding Singer). Directed by Tony-nominated director Mark Lamos (Seascape, The Rivals, The Deep Blue Sea), the production features Erin Cummings (Starz's 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand', CBS' 'Made In Jersey'), Randy Harrison (Showtime's 'Queer As Folk', Broadway's Wicked), Alexis Molnar (world premiere of Harbor at Westport Playhouse), and Paul Anthony Stewart (Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof, The People in the Picture).
