Adam Pascal has been out of RENT - The Broadway Tour and due to a herniated disc, he was unable to perform in the Detroit engagement. There's good news for Pascal fans in California though, he'll be back in the show on February 26 when the show plays the Pantages Theatre for a 2 week run through March 8.

Joining Pascal and Rapp who reprise their award-winning roles, and Stewart, are Nicolette Hart (Maureen Johnson), Justin Johnston (Angel Schunard), Lexi Lawson (Mimi Marquez), Michael McElroy (Tom Collins), Jacques C. Smith (Benjamin Coffin III), and Haneefah Wood (Joanne Jefferson). The 'RENT: Filmed Live on Broadway' DVD release party was held at Life Cafe on February 2nd, 2009 in New York City. 'RENT' stars Renee Elise Goldsberry, Andrea Goss, Tracy McDowell, Rodney Hicks, Jay Wilkison and Adam Kantor attended the event and BWW joined in on all the action.

Jeffrey Seller, Kevin McCollum and Allan S. Gordon have announced that Rent, The Broadway Tour, engagement at New Jersey Performing Arts Center will have a day-of-performance lottery for $20.00 front-row seats, similar to that used during the Broadway run. Those wishing to enter the lottery should arrive at the NJPAC box office two hours prior to curtain to have their names placed in a box. 40 minutes before the show, names will be drawn for the 34 front-row seats. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person, cash only.

The Broadway Boys presented 'BROADWAY SINGS FOR TOYS!' a benefit for Toys For Tots. This year was the 4th installment of this special holiday concert/celebration. The benefit took take place December 14th at 9PM at The Zipper Factory, 336 W. 37th Street.
