£5 tickets to King Lear will be made available as part of Chichester Festival Theatre's Prologue scheme for 16-25 year olds.

Further casting is announced for the West End transfer of Chichester Festival Theatre's critically-acclaimed production of Shakespeare's King Lear, directed by Jonathan Munby, which will run at the Duke of York's Theatre in London for 100 performances only from 11th July to 3rd November 2018.

Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres Robert Hastie today announced the full cast for his Christmas production of The Wizard of Oz.

Nathan Lane, whose 2004 Broadway version of Stephen Sondheim's 'The Frogs' - an hilarious send up of Greek comedy and satire - has its UK premiere tonight (Thursday 16 March), attended the show last night at Jermyn Street Theatre in London's West End.

There's a dame - Michael Matus's Mrs Bumbrake; an evilly over-the-top baddie you can't take your eyes off in Greg Haiste's Lord Flashheart-eque Black Stache; and Evelyn Hoskins' Molly is practically a Principal Boy. And that's before you get to the fact that this is a prequel of sorts to Peter Pan. There's jokes about farts for children, about British colonialism for grown-ups and about Philip Glass for the geeks.
