The Old Globe today announced that the San Diego Premiere of the crime classic Double Indemnity will receive an additional week of performances and will now run through Sept. 1. The production begins previews on July 27 and was originally set to close on Aug. 25. Opening night is Aug. 1. Double Indemnity is adapted by David Pichette and R. Hamilton Wright from the book by James M. Cain and is directed by John Gould Rubin. Tickets for the extension week are currently available to subscribers only and will go on sale to the public on Friday, July 26 at 12 noon. Cain. Directed by John Gould Rubin, Double Indemnity will run July 27 - August 25, 2013 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run July 27 - July 31. “Meet the Press” was the most-watched Sunday morning public affairs hour on June 16, 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research data. The NBC broadcast drew 2.380 million viewers, topping This Week by +336,000, the Face the Nation hour by +353,000, and FOX News Sunday by +1,318,000.

As a 16-year-old junior at Staples High School in Westport, CT, Charlie Karp was hand-picked by Buddy Miles to join Buddy's band for the recording of the renowned 'Them Changes Album' and for an international tour, which started with a shared bill with Jimi Hendrix at the LA Forum.

Tim Realbuto, who co-wrote and directed the popular NYMF musical Ghostlight, which starred Rachel York, Michael Hayden, and Tony Award winner Daisy Eagan, is currently in the process of optioning his first screenplay.

The School of Theatre at Florida State embarks on a romantic exploration of life, body, and soul in Tennessee Williams' psychologically stirring drama Summer and Smoke, directed by BFA Acting Assistant Professor Michael Hayden. The production runs from Nov. 2-11 in the Lab Theatre, located on Copeland Street between St. Augustine and Lafayette.

Randolph St. Ms. Margulies, who currently stars in the hit CBS drama The Good Wife, will be interviewed about her stage, television and film career by Steppenwolf Artistic Director Martha Lavey in a format similar to Inside the Actors Studio.
