The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) announces new staff members for the 2011 season. New additions include Jason Bruffy, co-artistic director; Michael Gnat, Festabill editor; Katrin Hilbe, artistic director of international relations; and Gerald vanHeerden, co-artistic director.

The Drilling Company's Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot will open its 2010 season with 'Love's Labours Lost,' directed by Kathy Curtis, July 8 to 24. The season will also include 'Julius Caesar,' directed by Hamilton Clancy, July 29 to August 14. This is the 19th consecutive year for Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot, a favorite New York summertime cultural treat that is performed free in a municipal parking lot at the corner of Ludlow and Broome Streets, Manhattan.

The award winning Drilling Company proudly presents its 17th collection of short work from emerging writers around a common theme: FREEDOM . The show runs Friday April 24- Sunday May 10th. Performances are at 8pm Thursday - Saturday and 3 pm on Sundays with a special performance on Wednesday May 6th.
