Theatre legend Patti LuPone has issued a response regarding the recent run-in with a Las Vegas audience member who was texting during the show. The action forced LuPone to stop the show, and calmly repremand the texter.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey celebrates the summer with two back-to-back classic comedies on the Main Stage. Molière's classic farce, The School for Wives, directed by Brian B. Crowe, kicks off the summer's mirth on July 8 and runs through July 26. The Tony Award nominated Noises Off, the hugely popular British farce by Michael Frayn and directed by Paul Mullins, begins performances on August 5 and continues through August 30.

Theatre legend Patti LuPone has once again stopped a show cold. The incident took place June 21, while the actress was performing her brand-new show, Gypsy In My Soul, at the Orleans Showroom in Las Vegas. While introducing the iconic 'Don't Cry For Me, Argentina' LuPone noticed an audience member texting on his cell phone. Steve Friess of VegasHappensHere.com was at the show, and Tweeted (@thestrippodcast) immediately after the event.

Now that her already legendary run in Gypsy is over, Patti LuPone is set for a number of concert dates throughout the year, in addition to the previously announced dates with Mandy Patinkin for 'An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin' she will make a concert stop in Las Vegas at the Orleans Casino & Hotel on June 20th and 21st. LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's new initiative devoted to producing work of emerging playwrights, directors and designers, has announced casting for STUNNING, the second production of its inaugural season. Sas Goldberg, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Cristin Milioti, Steven Rattazzi, Jeanine Serralles and Charlayne Woodard will be featured in STUNNING, a new play by David Adjmi, to be directed by Anne Kauffman. STUNNING will begin performances Monday, June 1 at 8pm, open Thursday, June 18 at 6:45pm and run through Saturday, June 27 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, (229 W. 42 Street).

Palm Beach Dramaworks will kick off its 10th Anniversary season with Henrik Ibsen's legendary 'A Doll's House' on Friday, October 16th (8PM) at their intimate downtown theatre (322 Banyan Boulevard). The season will continue with quite a roster of plays, 'Copenhagen' by Michael Frayn, 'American Buffalo' by David Mamet and 'Three Tall Women' by Edward Albee.

Throughout the 50th Anniversary Year, Hampstead Theatre will be presenting two rehearsed readings from each decade in the Michael Frayn Studio Space.

Publick Theatre Boston returns to the familiar, eclectic worlds of English gardens, strained family relations, and quantum physics with the New England premiere of Charlotte Jones's award-winning comedy Humble Boy. Performances are April 9 through May 2, 2009 at the Plaza Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont Street in Boston's South End.
