In partnership with Disney's THE LION KING and Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta, four iconic masks and a puppet from the world famous Broadway musical will soon be on display for Atlanta fans to enjoy. Beginning today, March 11, THE LION KING: Up Close will be featured at the Center for Puppetry Arts, leading up to the limited engagement of THE LION KING at the Fox Theatre, April 10-27. The exhibit will run through Sunday, April 27.

Open auditions are to be held for 'Cub School' - the programme where children who have the potential to play Young Simba and Young Nala in Disney's musical THE LION KING have the opportunity to hone the skills required to take on these challenging roles.

Blue Man Group at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino has announced an updated performance schedule. A free daily pProcession at 6:15 p.m. on the Monte Carlo Casino Floor will be offered, with dark days excluded. Performances are now scheduled nightly now through Monday, June 30, 2014

Disney's landmark musical event, THE LION KING, played its 6,681st performance on Saturday evening, November 30th, surpassing the original Broadway production ofLes Miserables (6,680 performances) to become the fourth longest-running show in Broadway history.

The Los Angeles return of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Friday, November 22, 2013 at 8pm at the Hollywood Pantages for a limited eight-week engagement through January 12, 2014. Disney Theatrical Productions and Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Sunday, December 8 at 10:00 a.m. Atlanta's most eagerly awaited return will leap onto the Fox Theatre stage for the first time on April 10, 2014 for a limited engagement of three weeks through April 27, 2014. Preview performances are Thursday, April 10, Friday, April 11 and the matinee performance on Saturday, April 12 with the official opening night performance on Saturday, April 12 at 8:00 p.m.

The Tempe return of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. at ASU Gammage for a limited engagement of four weeks through November 17. Disney's THE LION KING continues to reign across North America with a sold-out engagement in Dallas, which concluded on Sunday, October 20 at The Music Hall at Fair Park. The triumphant three-week return grossed over $4.9 million at the box office and entertained more than 79,000 patrons during 24 performances.
