Cabaret Cares the monthly benefit series that raises funds for Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS and Help Is On The Way Today returns in August. Created in 2005 by cabaret producer Joseph Macchia Cabaret Cares was created to help raise funds for Broadway Cares. The series was then a weekly summer series at Helen's cabaret room that brought together the best of the Broadway and Cabaret community.

On Saturday, July 11th, Broadway performers from The Little Mermaid, Billy Eilliot, Mamma Mia!, and Bye Bye Birdie Celebrated Canada Day, which is on July 1st. They joined Robert Creighton and Friends for the 5th Annual Canadian Day Party at THE IRISH ROGUE (356 W 44th Street).

The new Broadway production of Disney's The Little Mermaid will resume performances tonight, Thursday, November 29. Prior to the canceled performances due to the recent labor dispute, the show played five sold out previews at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). The previously scheduled opening night of December 6 has been cancelled and The Little Mermaid will now have its official press opening on Thursday, January 10 at 8PM.
