It's a Super Sunday on SHOWTIME with the premiere of NURSE JACKIE at 9 p.m., CALIFORNICATION at 9:30 p.m., and YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The Directors Company in association with Chase Miskin will present a musical reading of 'ELIOT NESS...' book by Peter Ullian, music and lyrics by Robert Lindsey-Nassif, original co-adaptation by Nick Corley, musical direction by Adam Souza and directed by Michael Parva today, April 8, 2014 at 3:00pm and Thursday, April 10 at 12:00pm and 3:00pm. The reading is being presented at New 42nd Street Studios.

Peter Van Wagner, Justin Robertson, Shelley Thomas, Ian Etheridge, David Scott Purdy, Tim Ewing, Darren Mathias, Jesse Manocherian, Brandi Chavonne Massey, Emily Leonard, Marissa Miller will join Adam Monley, Robert Cuccioli, Dominic Nolfi and Mamie Parris in 'ELIOT NESS...', it was announced today.

Beginning Sunday, April 13, the sweeping docu-series YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY makes its debut in time for Earth Day at 10 p.m., immediately following the season six premiere of NURSE JACKIE, starring Edie Falco, at 9 p.m. and the seventh and final season of CALIFORNICATION, starring David Duchovny, at 9:30 p.m. SHOWTIME's new series PENNY DREADFUL, the psychological thriller starring Eva Green and Josh Hartnett, premieres on Sunday, May 11 at 10 p.m.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former FREAKS AND GEEKS star has booked a recurring role on the hit comedy, starring Zooey Deschanel. Cardellini will play Abby, the 'wild' sister of Jess (Deschanel). As of now, there's no word when the actress' first episode wil air.
