The London Premiere of Broadway musical [title of show] will play at the Landor Theatre from tonight 7 August (press night Monday 12 August) to Saturday 14 September 2013. The cast will feature Simon Bailey as 'Jeff', Scott Garnham as 'Hunter', Sarah Galbraith as 'Susan' and Sophia Ragavelas as 'Heidi'.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College (BCBC) opens its 2013-2014 Target Storybook Series with ArtsPower National Touring Theatre's The Little Engine That Could Earns Her Whistle on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2pm. The centerpiece of Brooklyn Center's 2013-2014 family programming will be theTarget Storybook Series of performances based on classic and contemporary children's literature, with titles including The Little Engine That Could Earns Her Whistle; Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day; A Brown Bear, a Moon, and a Caterpillar: Treasured Stories by Eric Carle; andThe Wizard of Oz. The series aims to encourage the development of strong reading skills at home in children ages four to eight. Online resources such as literacy-based activity sheets and Parents' Guides will give parents the opportunity to engage their children prior to attending the performances, and then again after seeing each show.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is pleased to announce the 2013-2014 Pittsburgh International Children's Theater Family Series. Now in its 44th season, the Family Series will present award-winning, professional theater companies featuring live performances for young audiences ages 3 and up. Performances based on prize-winning and popular children's books adapted for the stage by Theatreworks USA (USA), Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia (Canada), and Big Wooden Horse Theatre Company (UK) can be seen at various locations throughout the Pittsburgh area. Hand Made Theatre (Russia) will present a U.S. premiere choreography that creates a magical world of trains, boats, ticking clocks, flocks of birds and more. New to the 2013-2014 Family Series is a series special, Junie B. Jones by Theatreworks USA. School matinee performances for some shows will be held on Mondays at 10:15 a.m., at the Byham Theater.

The season will also include a beloved classic never before seen at CTC and a Philip Pullman masterpiece brought to the stage for the first time. The Wong Kids in The Secret of the Space Chupacabra Go! by Lloyd Suh is CTC's first ever sci-fi anime inspired production. Recorded at London's Mermaid Theatre on 16 January, Ken Bruce presents a night of romantic classics with Tony and Grammy award-winning Heather Headley who performs two numbers including the iconic hit song from The Bodyguard, I Will Always Love You. Headley will be accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by their principal conductor Keith Lockhart.
