Now in its 101st season, the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene [NYTF] presents the first Off-Broadway revival of the lost Yiddish American hit THE GOLDEN BRIDE (Di Goldene Kale).  Featuring a cast of 20 and an orchestra of 14, this rare glimpse back into musical theater history began performances December 2 as part of NYTF's inaugural year in residency at the Museum of Jewish Heritage [MJH]. The production marks the first long-running, full-scale production hosted at the Museum's 375-seat Edmond J. Safra Hall. Performances run through January 3.

Campus Coach Lines has announced its plan for a new free-to-the-public bus service from Columbus Circle in Midtown Manhattan to the Museum of Jewish Heritage [MJH] in Battery Park City. In sync with Lower Manhattan's cultural renaissance, and part of ongoing efforts in increasing accessibility to the Museum of Jewish Heritage, the bus service will commence this Thursday, December 17, shuttling patrons to the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's [NYTF] critically-acclaimed production of The Golden Bride.

New Repertory Theatre in Watertown revisits Yiddish Theatre with Robert Brustein's new Klezmer musical comedy THE KING OF SECOND AVENUE.

Following a wildly successful Off Broadway run last Spring, The National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene's critically-acclaimed musical production 'The Megile of Itzik Manger' will return to Baruch Performing Arts Center for a two week limited engagement, March 2 - 16.

This winter a five alarm fire will sizzle in New York City, when Live Nation presents the highly anticipated New York City debut of the hard hitting theatrical concert BURLESQUE TO BROADWAY starring Quinn Lemley playing for four nights at the Gramercy Theatre tonight, February 5 and February 6, 7 and 8, 2014.

Live Nation presents the high-octane theatrical concert, "Burlesque to Broadway" starring Quinn Lemley, for four nights in February at the Gramercy Theatre, 127 East 23rd Street. This lightning-in-a-bottle survey of American burlesque -- with Lemley leading a tight-knit coterie of showgirls through heart-racing choreography, in eye-popping costumes -- is supported by a razor-sharp live band under the music direction of Dan Micciche. The National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene's hit musical based on the Academy-Award-nominated film Lies My Father Told Me adapted from the works of Ted Allan will end its highly acclaimed run this upcoming Sunday, December 15.
