Laura Eason, who is best known for four seasons as a writer/producer on the Netflix drama 'House of Cards,' will be guest speaker at Westport Country Playhouse's Sunday Symposium following a 3 p.m. performance of her play 'Sex with Strangers,' on Sunday, October 1.
'Ropes' will be performed Two River Theater (TRT) in Red Bank from February 20th to March 20th. It is written by Barbara Colio, directed by Lisa Rothe and translated by Maria Alexandria Beech. Broadwayworld.com interviewed Varin Ayala who stars as Paul in the show.
The Suzi Shelton Band will be celebrating the release of their new album, Smile In My Heart with two family concerts in the coming months. The first will take place on Sunday, April 6 at 2:00 and 3:30pm at the Children's Museum of Manhattan in the Tisch Building at 212 W. 83rd Street in NYC. The concert is free with museum admission. A Q&A will follow each performance. Greg Mayo and Abby Levin will join Suzi for this performance, previewing songs from Smile in My Heart.
Downtown theater stalwart Jean Cocteau Repertory has shed its longtime home at the Bouwerie Lane Theatre, expanded its mission, and has been rechristened The Exchange.
