The world premiere of the original rock musical, Love in Hate Nation is thrilling its audiences at Two River Theater.

Two River Theater (Artistic Director John Dias, Managing Director Michael Hurst) presents Love in Hate Nation, a world-premiere musical written (book, music and lyrics) by Joe Iconis, directed by John Simpkins. Love in Hate Nation has music direction and vocal arrangements by Annastasia Victory, music supervision and orchestrations by Charlie Rosen, and choreography by Mayte Natalio. Love in Hate Nation opens to the press on Friday, November 15 at 8pm and continues through Sunday, December 1 in Two River's Rechnitz Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, NJ. Irish Repertory Theatre announced today an extension for Little Gem by Elaine Murphy (Shush) and directed by Marc Atkinson Borrull (Outlying Islands). Little Gem began previews on July 17, 2019 on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage and opened July 25 and will now play through September 8, 2019.

No One is Forgotten, a new play written and directed by Winter Miller (In Darfur) will make its world premiere this summer, running July 8-27, 2019 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place) as part of Rattlestick's curated rental program. No One is Forgotten will feature Renata Friedman and Sarah Nina Hayon. Opening night is set for July 12, 2019.

The World Premiere of the new off-Broadway play Eco Village by Phoebe Nir, will include a Post-Show Talkback moderated by Justice Nnnanna featuring farmers Nailah Marie, Amber Tamm Canty and Myriah Towner, with special invited audiences from Striver's Row and The Creative Collective, as well as an Afro Flow Yoga-Session led by Pilin Anice following the 4pm performance of Eco Village on Sunday, February 10, 2019.

The Henry Hewes Design Awards Committee honored the four 2018 honorees of the 54th annual Henry Hewes Design Awards at a luncheon in New York yesterday which was attended by some of the top theater designers in the country.  The 2017-18 honorees were David Zinn, Emily Rebholz, Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew and Palmer Hefferan.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of LOST LAUGHS: THE SLAPSTICK TRAGEDY OF FATTY ARBUCKLE, bringing to life the story of one of the great comics of silent films. A century ago, he was Hollywood's first million-dollar man, but fell from grace when charged with murder. Despite his eventual acquittal, Arbuckle was never able to reclaim his place at the pinnacle of the entertainment world. LOST LAUGHS features memorable performances by co-writer Aaron Muñoz and Kristen Mengelkoch, under the direction of Nathan Keepers.

In a spoOoOoky town in mythical Connecticut where inequality reigns, a shadowy ring of part-time activists battle a baroque, tyrannical Landlorde. Only True Love's Kiss can save the local economy. Cute Activist is a pastel fable full of earnest questions about how to engage politically, at an everyday level, as a normal-feeling civilian.
