Butch Mach, Alley Theatre Board Chair and Chairman of the Alley Theatre Vision for the Future Campaign, has announced that the Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre received a $25 million matching grant from an anonymous donor as part of the $80 million Alley Vision for the Future Campaign.

The Alley Theatre, one of the nation's leading nonprofit theatre companies and housed in one of Houston's most iconic buildings, celebrated the groundbreaking today for the first extensive renovation of its facilities since its opening in 1968 as part of its $73 million capital campaign.
