Lube: An Unauthorized Grease'd-Up Parody is a hilarious time from start to finish at the Ringwald Theatre in Ferndale. From the moment the characters of Danny and Mandy step on stage, the audience is laughing as they realize this may not be exactly the beloved Grease movie they remember from 1978 - it is a whole lot funnier and dirtier.

Michigan Shakespeare Festival Launches 'Season Of Rebellion' Tonight

The Michigan Shakespeare Festival, the official Shakespeare Festival of the State of Michigan, brings a Season Of Rebellion to the Great Lakes region with As You Like It, Richard II, and the Civil War drama The Killer Angels, a play by Karen Tarjan based on Michael Shaara's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about the Battle of Gettysburg.

THE WHALE Begins Tonight at The Ringwald Theatre

The Theatre Company and The Ringwald Theatre announce their first artistic collaboration with their season opening production of THE WHALE. Performed at The Ringwald Theatre, Samuel D. Hunter's award-winning dark-comedy play 'The Whale' will open tonight, October 2 and run sixteen performances through October 26.

Water Works Fundraiser Moves to the Royal Oak Farmers Market Today

Water Works Theatre Company has announced a change in venue for its annual fundraiser event. Previously scheduled for the Milking It Productions Brewery, Ale's Wellwill now take place at the Royal Oak Farmers Market tonight, June 19 beginning at 6:30pm.

The GAY PLAY SERIES Returns to Ferndale, MI for the 6th Fabulous Year!

The Ringwald Theatre is thrilled to announce the 6th installment of its wildly popular Gay Play Series (GPS) and this year things are getting a remix as The Ringwald replaces its traditional One Act Play festival with a collection of mash-ups which will intertwine a variety of movies and music artists to create The Ringwald's Big Gay Mash-Up (for example:  My Fair Lady Gaga). The festival will also include a screening of gay TV classics.

Water Works Theatre Company Sets 15th Annual Shakespeare Royal Oak Events

Shakespeare Royal Oak's 3rd Show: Romeo And Juliet August 7-8 (ROYAL OAK MI) Water Works Theatre Company announces the schedule and casts for its 15th annual outdoor summer theatre festival, Shakespeare Royal Oak. The festival begins July 27 in Royal Oak's Starr Jaycee Park and continues through Sunday, August 9. Tickets ($10-$20) are on sale now online at www.shakespeareroyaloak.com for All's Well That Ends Well and As You Like It. A complete Shakespeare Royal Oak performance schedule follows this release. In addition to its outdoor productions, Water Works will also offer performance minded students an opportunity to learn from the experts with the Water Works Academy and KidsAct! July 27 - August 8.
