Billy Currington's 'Do I Make You Wanna' Hits #1

Country music mainstay, Billy Currington, has reached the #1 spot on Billboard's Country Airplay chart with his latest singe, “Do I Make You Wanna,” off his sixth studio album, Summer Forever (Mercury Records Nashville). The single marks Currington's 12th career #1 and second song from Summer Forever to top the charts following his hit “It Don't Hurt Like It Used To.”

Renee Fleming Reports She's Not Quitting Opera Yet!

According to an article published in the New York Times, they reported that 'Renee Fleming has announced that she will be retiring from the opera stage,' stating that her final performance will be of 'Der Rosenkavalier' at the Metropolitan Opera on May 13th.  However, the NPR now reveals new information that the diva is not quitting just yet.

Luigi Creatore, Elvis Hitmaker, Dies at 93

Luigi Creatore, who with his cousin Hugo Peretti wrote and produced iconic hits for such stars as Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, Perry Como, Sarah Vaughan, Della Reese, Jimmie Rodgers, Patti Page and many others, including the Tokens' “Lion Sleeps Tonight,” Presley's “Can't Help Falling in Love” and “Wild in the Country,” and Cook's “Another Saturday Night” and “Twistin' the Night Away,” died of pneumonia at a Boca Raton hospice on Sunday, Dec. 13. He was 93.

Star of Broadway's HELLAZPOPPIN, June Winters Dies at 96

It has been confirmed that June Winters, widow of legendary songwriter and record producer Hugo Peretti, and famous in her own right as the "Lady in Blue" on both radio and records, died March 29 of natural causes at her home in Bergenfield, NJ.
