Columbus State University 's College of the Arts will present renowned dancer/choreographer/actress Mercedes Ellington with its 2017 "Lifetime Achievement Award in Dance" at CSU's annual BROADWAY BALL on Friday, December 1 in Columbus, GA. The announcement was made by Karyn Tomsczak, the Viki Jiles Flanagan Distinguished Chair in Dance in CSU's Department of Theatre.

Harrisburg native jazz pianist Steve Rudolph will perform with exceptional veteran jazz musicians, vocalist Dred 'Perky' Scott and bassist Hassan J.J. Shakur, in a program of jazz interpretations of Christmas favorites tonight, December 4, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ware Center. Favorites will include 'Let It Snow,' Mel Torme's 'Christmas Song,' 'Little Drummer Boy,' 'My Favorite Things,' 'Silent Night,' and many more. All tickets include complimentary beverage service which begins at 7:00 PM with the concert beginning at 7:30 PM. The Ware Center is located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster.

His performance on April 17 is promised to wrap up the Ware Center's season of the Jazz in the Sky performances on a high note. The concert begins at 7:30 pm at the Ware Center located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster. On Saturday, April 18 at 7:30 pm, Frank Griffith will join the 10th Annual Single Reed Symposium and finish the evening as a guest artist in the Jazz & Java concert on campus at Gordinier Hall located at 40 S. George Street, Millersville.
