Joining the previously announced cast, Kevin Kennedy (Coronation Street) stars as Fergus and Rachael Wooding (We Will Rock You) appears as Joanne, alongside Jonathan Halliwell (Let It Shine) as Paul and Chloe Hart (Hairspray) as Val. Alan will be played by Neil Hurst, one of dozens of Yorkshiremen who applied for the role through an open audition call.

Public booking opens today at 9am today for the Menier Chocolate Factory's major revival of Barnum. Gordon Greenberg's production opens on 5 December, with previews from 25 November, and runs until 3 March 2018.

Ben Lewis's past work includes Forbidden Broadway and Candide at Menier Chocolate Factory, Annie Get Your Gun at Sheffield Crucible, and playing The Phantom in the original Australian production of Love Never Dies. He's now donning the mask again to lead the West End production of Phantom of the Opera.

It has been announced that Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo has joined the cast of Doug Liman's upcoming dystopian drama Chaos Walking.

Producers announced today the first North American tour and full casting of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE. The Menier Chocolate Factory today announced the first major London revival of BARNUM. Gordon Greenberg's production opens on 5 December, with previews from 25 November, and runs until 3 March 2018. The production goes on sale to supporters of the Menier on 31 August, and to the general public on 11 September.
