Great theatre is tradition in Merced, where Playhouse Merced just opened its 2014-2015 season with "Fiddler on the Roof," now in its 50th Anniversary. The classical musical has become a tradition of its own in theatres across the world.

Cape Rep Theatre will present the Cape Cod Premiere of Good People by David Lindsay-Abaire, September 18th through October 19th, playing Wednesdays at 7 pm, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm.

Shrek the Musical, the successful Broadway show based on the animated film, begins its three-weekend run at the Playhouse Merced mainstage on Friday, February 28 at 7:30 p.m.

After celebrating its 5th anniversary, Go Comedy!, Michigan's premier improv theater, is set to sled into the holidays with its 5th original holiday show The Worst Noel. November 21 - December 21. Professional theaters from across Michigan will share the spotlight August 19 when The 2013 Wilde Awards are presented at The Berman Center for the Performing Arts in the Detroit suburb of West Bloomfield.
