New Circle Theatre Company and LIU Post present The Inferno Project: Lust & Gluttony, opening Friday, June 8.

New Village Arts Theatre is proud to announce that AVENUE Q will open this May. With music and lyrics by Jeff Marx and Robert Lopez and a book by Jeff Whitty, this Tony Award-winning puppet musical will be directed by AJ Knox, with music direction by Nina Gilbert.

In 1991, legendary artist and director, Derek Jarman (Wittgenstein, Caravaggio) radically adapted the Elizabethan drama in a highly stylized feature starring Jarman muse and Oscar-winner Tilda Swinton and Steven Waddington.   And, on June 12, Film Movement Classics delivers this iconoclastic New Queer Cinema landmark in a stunning digitally restored version, available on Blu-ray for the very first time in North America.

Cheyenne Jackson ('American Horror Story') has been cast in Disney's 'Descendants 3,' in the role of Hades, the nefarious underworld ruler from the 1997 Disney animated musical comedy film 'Hercules.' Jackson, who began his career as a theatrical actor including starring roles in Broadway productions 'All Shook Up' and 'Xanadu' among others, starred in multiple seasons of 'American Horror Story' and has had roles in over 40 television series and films. The Menier Chocolate Factory presents the UK premiere of Jordi Galceran's The Gronholm Method. Making his UK directorial debut, BT McNicholl directs Jonathan Cake (Frank), Greg McHugh (Carl), Laura Pitt-Pulford (Melanie) and John Gordon Sinclair (Rick). The production opens on 22 May, with previews from 10 May, and runs until 7 July.
