On Monday, November 26, 2018, luminaries from the hotel and tourism industries will be treated to a special live performance from Broadway's Ashley Brown as the Hotel Association of New York City (HANYC) hosts the "Red Carpet Hospitality Gala," HANYC's Annual Dinner. A veteran Broadway actress, Brown played Belle in Beauty and the Beast and originated the title role in Mary Poppins. The fundraiser will take place at JW Marriott Essex House in Manhattan. A portion of the proceeds from the gala will go towards the HANYC Scholarship Fund.

Ahead of the public ballot for tickets opening on Thursday 22 November, the National Theatre have released the image for When We Have Sufficiently Tortured Each Other, a new play by Martin Crimp, directed by Katie Mitchell, with a cast including Cate Blanchett, who makes her National Theatre debut alongside Stephen Dillane returning to the National Theatre for the first time since The Coast of Utopia in 2002. They are joined on stage by Babirye Bukilwa, Jessica Gunning, Emma Hindle and Craig Miller.

Mary Poppins is set to fly over the rooftops of London and onto the stage at Stages Theatre Company this holiday season! Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins JR., based on the classic P.L. Travers stories and the Walt Disney film, is playing at Stages Theatre from November 16 through December 27, 2018.
Center Theatre Group will offer Spanish-language translations of the 8 p.m. performance of Luis Valdez's "Valley of the Heart" on Friday, December 7 at the Mark Taper Forum. Each show will be performed in English with Spanish translations running simultaneously on open caption screens. Audience members wishing to view the open captions should request to be seated in the captioning area when purchasing tickets.
