The Fox Network has announced that on Thursday, November 10th (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), on THE X FACTOR's live results show, there will be a special performance by singer Willow Smith.

America has spoken, everyone! This is the first results show where you decide who deserves to stay in the competition. The votes are in and one contestant will leave tonight. After singing their hearts out last night, only 11 will move on to next week's show. Are the best contestants moving forward or is the wrong contestant going home? Did America make the right decision? The answer will soon be revealed!

FOX has ordered a second season of unscripted series THE X FACTOR, it was announced today by Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

Last night, after the remaining 17 acts performed, the judges eliminated five acts, revealing THE X FACTOR Top 12 Finalists: Girls - Melanie Amaro, Rachel Crow and Drew; Boys - Astro, Marcus Canty and Chris Rene; Over 30s - LeRoy Bell, Stacy Francis and Josh Krajcik; Groups - InTENsity, Lakoda Rayne and The Stereo Hogzz.

This is it everyone- the live shows are finally here! Tonight is the night that the real competition begins. The finals have begun and the winner is among the 17 contestants that are performing tonight. On top of that, by the end of the episode, five more will be eliminated and each judge has to choose only three from their group to move on to next week. After surviving the auditions, boot camp, and now the judges' home round, the toughest competitors are singled out to go head-to-head. This is the last installment of the three part judges' homes round, which means that the judges have each made their decisions of which four contestants from their group have what it takes to compete in the live finals. We are now left with the final 16 contestants that will be fighting to the finish!
