Netflix, the world's leading internet entertainment service, announced three new sci-fi series The I-Land, October Faction and Warrior Nun. These new series join Netflix's growing sci-fi slate which includes recent announcements The Order, Wu Assassins, Locke & Key, V Wars, and Another Life.
Artistic Director Dennis Garnhum has announced principal casting for the 2018/19 season including Seana McKenna as Penelope in MARGARET ATWOOD'S THE PENELOPIAD, Jan Alexandra Smith as Scrooge in this season's gender-flipping A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Nigel Shawn Williams as Troy Maxson and E.B. Smith as Jim Bono in AUGUST WILSON'S FENCES, and Alex Furber as Robert Ross in TIMOTHY FINDLEY'S THE WARS.
Christmas is coming early this year! Lifetime sleighs the 2018 holiday season this year with the network's It's a Wonderful Lifetime lineup, featuring 14 all-new original movies and nine acquired films. Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino will present this year's Legacy Award to Megan Follows, one of Canada's most beloved performers, who shot to fame around the world for her award-winning portrayal of Anne in the 1985 miniseries Anne of Green Gables and its sequel Anne of Avonlea.
