A great, big Broadway season is on its way, with fourteen productions already slated to open in the next few months. The craziness is almost upon us, but there is still plenty of time to catch up on what's been going on at Broadway's already occupied theaters . As of the performance tonight, Wednesday, April 9, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical JERSEY BOYS will surpass 42nd Street with 3,487 performances, becoming the 13th longest-running show in Broadway history.

Legendary doo-wop singer Frankie Valli has canceled a scheduled appearance in Thailand due to political unrest in the area.

As of the performance tonight, Tuesday, January 14, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical JERSEY BOYS will surpass Grease with 3,389 performances, becoming the 14th longest-running show in Broadway history.

The Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical JERSEY BOYS celebrates its 8th year on Broadway today Wednesday, November 6. JERSEY BOYS opened on Broadway to critical acclaim at the August Wilson Theatre (then called the Virginia Theatre). The show has been seen by over 18 million people worldwide (as of July, 2013) and is currently playing in New York; Las Vegas; London; in cities across the U.S. on a National Tour and in The Netherlands, and is currently the 15th longest running show in Broadway history, having recently surpassed the records held by Fiddler on the Roof and Hello, Dolly!.

JERSEY BOYS First National Tour cast member Mauricio Perez will be a special guest at tomorrow night's CNN-televised GOP debates from Washington, DC, airing Tuesday, November 22 at 8:00pm ET on CNN. He will sing the national anthem for the candidates, Wolf Blitzer, the audience that has gathered at DAR Constitution Hall, and an estimated national audience of 5 million.
