Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that Broadway's record-breaking, star-studded smash hit comedy It's Only a Play by 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, will welcome two new stars. Beginning January 7, 2015, two-time Tony Award winner Katie Finneran and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning "30 Rock" alum Maulik Pancholy-in his Broadway debut-will assume the roles of 'Julia Budder' and 'Frank Finger', respectively.

Second Stage Theatre's production of Terrence McNally's play, Lips Together, Teeth Apart, directed by Peter DuBois, officially opened last night, October 29, 2014. The production features Michael Chernus(Obie Award winner for In the Wake), Tracee Chimo (Lortel Award winner for Bad Jews, 2ST Uptown's Bachelorette), America Ferrera(Emmy Award winner for 'Ugly Betty') andAustin Lysy (2ST's The Water's Edge). Celebrating its 20th Season, Frog & Peach Theatre Company is currently presenting William Shakespeare's most deranged tragedy TITUS ANDRONICUS starring TV and Broadway actor Greg Mullavey (TV: Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, Nickelodeon's iCarly; Broadway: Romantic Comedy opposite Mia Farrow, Neil Simon's Rumors; and The Soap Myth with Roundabout Theater Company). The production runs through November 2 at The West End Theatre (263 W 86th St).

An adventure and action-filled television special, 'Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars' is set to premiere TONIGHT, JULY 26 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The story is set a couple summers ago in a galaxy far, far away when Phineas, Ferb and the gang are in a parallel universe during Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Iconic Star Wars characters Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 are featured in this special event programming.

Nickelodeon greenlights a third season of its hit animated series Sanjay and Craig with a 20-episode order.

Nickelodeon and California State University, Fullerton's Atrium Gallery presents 'Butt What Is Art? A Sanjay and Craig Fine Art Retrospective,' a rich comprehensive collection of production art that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the world of television animation. Curated by renowned art historians Sanjay and Craig, the exhibit is the first to focus exclusively on art created for, and inspired by, Nickelodeon's hit animated series Sanjay and Craig. Opening VIP Reception is Saturday, April 12, from 1:30pm-2:30pm. The dates for this exhibition are April 14 through June 20.

MCC Theater's annual Miscast gala, one of the most exciting and unique theater events in town, was held last night at the Hammerstein Ballroom. At the event, Broadway's hottest stars performed songs from roles in which they would never be cast. This year's event was hosted by award-winning actress Allison Janney. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that Ken Urban's The Correspondent, directed by Stephen Brackett will begin previews tonight, January 29, 2014, at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South, between West 11th and Perry Streets. The official opening night is set for Thursday, February 13, 2014. The Correspondent is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 16.
