Bonnie & Clyde: A Folktale to Premiere at NYMF Starting 9/16

New York Musical Theater Festival will present the World Premiere of BONNIE & CLYDE: A FOLKTALE. With book and lyrics by Tony and Lucille Lortel Award nominee Hunter Foster (Urinetown, Little Shop of Horrors) and music by Drama Desk Award nominee Rick Crom, the production is directed by Mark Waldrop. Performances begin September 16 at The American Theatre of Actors.

Bonnie & Clyde: A Folktale to Premiere at NYMF Starting 9/16

New York Musical Theater Festival will present the World Premiere of BONNIE & CLYDE: A FOLKTALE. With book and lyrics by Tony and Lucille Lortel Award nominee Hunter Foster (Urinetown, Little Shop of Horrors) and music by Drama Desk Award nominee Rick Crom, the production is directed by Mark Waldrop. Performances begin September 16 at The American Theatre of Actors.

The Westchester Broadway Theatre production stars Bob Amaral as Max Bialystock, Joel Newsome as Leo Bloom and Karen McNay as Ulla. Craig Fols as Roger DeBris, John West as Carmen Ghia, with Eric Anderson as Franz Liebkind. David Edwards directs the production. The Producers runs from August 7th 2008 to November 15th 2008.

On June 8th, 2008 Paper Mill Playhouse opened its mainstage production of Little Shop of Horrors, a musical written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. The musical is based on Roger Corman's 1960 sci-fi comedy and includes several show-stopping numbers including 'Skid Row (Downtown),' 'Somewhere That's Green,' and 'Suddenly Seymour,' as well as the title song. Little Shop of Horrors will run at the Millburn theatre from June 4 through July 6, 2008.
