In September 2014, Bangarra Dance Theatre will commence its largest ever regional tour of Australia as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations. Following the highly acclaimed national tour of Patyegarang that was attended by over 36,500 patrons across Australia, Bangarra will visit regional areas of Australia and will spend time on country with Indigenous communities from September until November 2014 - performing in theatres, arts centres, on basketball courts and at beach amphitheaters.

For the first time, Bangarra has assembled an all-women choreographic team with four of the company's senior female dancers each creating a new work. The resulting program of diverse styles and ideas will be presented as part of the inaugural festival, Corroboree Sydney.

Bangarra Dance Theatre will return to Victoria this month and to Hobart in September, with a breathtaking performance tour of Kinship, by award-winning choreographer Stephen Page. During the tour, Bangarra will host a series of workshops to inspire and engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, particularly young people, in Victoria and Hobart.
